Every year during the summer, Santa Maria da Feira is transformed into a real scene from the Middle Ages with the staging of the emblematic Viagem Medieval. For several days, the historic centre of the fair takes on new life and recreates the atmosphere of other times, offering a unique experience to visitors of all ages.
The streets are filled with knights, artisans, merchants and characters from the period, while the castle and surrounding areas host tournaments, entertainment and historical re-enactments.
